This month, we’re highlighting Clarksville native Brandon Bridges, Vice President and Commercial Lender, who has spent the last six years helping businesses throughout Clarksville and Middle Tennessee grow and succeed.
Helping Businesses Move Forward
As a Commercial Lender, Brandon works directly with business owners to connect them with the financial resources they need. From commercial loans and deposit accounts to treasury management services and retirement planning, he helps businesses find solutions that support their long-term success.
“I help customers reach their financial goals by connecting them with the financial resources that they need,” says Brandon.
With 13 years in the banking industry, Brandon understands that every business has unique challenges and opportunities. His goal is to serve as a trusted resource and partner throughout every stage of a company’s journey.
Building Relationships That Last
One of Brandon’s favorite parts of his role is watching customers achieve major milestones in their businesses.
“I enjoy seeing my customers achieve the next steps in their businesses,” says Brandon. “My customers often spend several years building their businesses toward a goal. Those goals could be purchasing their own building, expanding operations, or working through an ownership transition.”
Whether helping a business owner expand, invest in new facilities, or navigate a transition, Brandon takes pride in being part of those important moments.
Advice for Business Owners
When asked what advice he often shares with customers, Brandon emphasized the importance of building a strong team of trusted advisors.
“Every business owner should have access to an attorney, CPA, financial advisor, insurance agent, and banker,” says Brandon. “Depending on the business, they may need additional resources.”
Having the right people in your corner can help business owners make informed decisions and position their companies for long-term success.
Committed to Family and Community
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Whether it’s attending soccer games, building Legos, or creating obstacle courses around the house, family time is a priority.
As a Clarksville native, Brandon is passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape him. Brandon has been actively involved in local volunteer efforts for years and previously served with the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville. He also chaired the Best of Clarksville campaign for four years, helping raise funds for local nonprofits.

One fun fact about Brandon? He’s always on the hunt for a new restaurant to try around town.
Rooted in Experience
Brandon credits much of his approach to business and customer service to lessons learned from his family. Growing up in a family business environment, he saw firsthand the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.
“My father ran his concrete company for more than 40 years and taught me the importance of quality work. My mother opened The Choppin’ Block in 2006 successfully until she decided to retire in 2017. Through the family-run business, she taught me the importance of the community and those relationships.” says Brandon. “I value those lessons today, and I believe those experiences have suited me well to understand what businesses are going through today.”
Those experiences continue to shape the way Brandon serves customers today by building relationships, understanding business owners’ needs, and helping them achieve their goals.
