For Drew Crook, AVP | Business Banker, banking is about much more than numbers. It’s about building relationships, understanding what matters to each customer, and helping local businesses find the right tools and financing to move forward.
Drew has been with Legends Bank for seven years and has spent his entire banking career with the bank. He began as a Personal Banker, later served as Downtown Branch Manager for three and a half years and has spent the past year and a half as a Business Banker.
Helping Local Businesses Grow
In his current role, Drew works closely with local entrepreneurs and small business owners to provide personalized lending solutions, cash flow tools and practical financial guidance.
What he enjoys most is getting to know the people behind the businesses.
“I enjoy the chance to build real, lasting relationships with the people behind their businesses while watching their ideas take root, knowing I played a part in making it possible,” Drew said.
That relationship-focused approach also guides how Drew helps customers find the right solutions. Rather than focusing only on the numbers, he takes time to understand the full picture, including each customer’s needs, goals and plans for the future.

One piece of advice Drew often shares with business owners is to develop a strong relationship with their bank or lender before they need financing.

Investing in Clarksville
Originally from Erin, Tennessee, Drew has made Clarksville home and stays actively involved throughout the community.
He has served on the Board of the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville for the past three years, helping raise funds and support programs benefiting local children. He also serves as Chairman of the Best of Clarksville event, which raises more than $100,000 each year for local charities, and is a member of the Clarksville Kiwanis Rodeo committee.
Drew is also a Board Member and Ambassador with the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Membership Development Committee. He remains connected with the Austin Peay State University College of Business and is a proud supporter of Austin Peay athletics.
Outside of work and volunteering, Drew enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and traveling.
Continuing to Grow
Drew earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Austin Peay State University in 2021 and his MBA from Murray State University in 2022. He completed the Tennessee Bankers Association’s Southeastern School of Banking in 2025 and is currently enrolled in Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking program, which he expects to complete in 2028.
As he continues growing as a lender, Drew looks forward to serving even more individuals and businesses throughout Clarksville.
