That’s exactly what drives Shelby Perry, Treasury Management Specialist, as she works alongside businesses across Middle Tennessee to help them streamline operations, improve efficiency, and protect their funds.

Based out of our Wilma Rudolph/St. Bethlehem office, Shelby supports customers throughout all Legends Bank markets, serving as a trusted resource for businesses of all sizes.

A Passion for Helping Businesses Succeed

As a Treasury Management Specialist, Shelby partners with businesses to implement solutions that help them make payments, accept payments, and safeguard their accounts. She works closely with customers to provide services such as merchant services, ACH payments, wire transfers, and fraud-prevention tools.

“I take a hands-on, consultative approach when handling onboarding, training, and ongoing support so my clients can operate more efficiently, securely, and with confidence,” Shelby said.

While she officially celebrated one year with Legends Bank this past April, Shelby has quickly become an invaluable member of the Treasury Management team thanks to her dedication to customer service and problem-solving.

For Shelby, the most rewarding part of her role is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with customers and learn about their businesses.

“What I enjoy most about my role is building strong relationships with my customers and getting to know their businesses,” says Shelby. “I genuinely love solving problems, whether that means troubleshooting an issue, finding the right solution, or answering questions, so my customers always know they have someone they can rely on.”

Her commitment to being a dependable resource helps customers feel supported and confident in the banking tools they use every day.

“I help customers succeed by providing ongoing support, anticipating needs, solving problems before they escalate, and being a reliable partner they can count on every step of the way,” says Shelby.

When it comes to business banking, one piece of advice Shelby frequently shares with customers is the importance of staying alert to potential fraud.

She encourages business owners and employees to slow down when something seems unusual, verify payment requests, and never let a sense of urgency override good judgment.

Shelby also emphasizes the value of fraud-prevention tools such as ACH Positive Pay, Check Positive Pay, and dual controls, along with maintaining consistent internal processes.

Outside the Bank

Originally from Gallatin, Tennessee, Shelby enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with her black lab puppy, Marshall.

She loves being outdoors and can often be found hiking, kayaking, camping, or exploring state and national parks. When she’s ready to relax, she enjoys cooking, reading, painting, and listening to music.

One surprising fun fact? Shelby taught herself how to play the piano while in middle school and later took piano courses in college to further develop her skills. She still enjoys playing today and appreciates it as a creative outlet and a way to unwind.
