Legends Bank Takes Part in Tennessee Financial Literacy Week

As part of Tennessee’s Financial Literacy Week, #TNFinLit, Legends Bank held an interactive discussion with seniors at Clarksville Christian School. The discussion included financial responsibility, accounts management, credit, and careers in banking.

Tennessee’s Financial Literacy Week is presented by the Tennessee Bankers Association. Launched by the TBA in 2019, the first full week of April of every year has been officially designated as Tennessee Financial Literacy Week.  During this week, TBA asks 100% of our member banks to participate in their communities with a financial literacy outreach event.

Did you know that Tennessee is one of only 23 states that require personal financial education as a requirement for high school graduation?

Beginning with the high school graduating class of 2013, Tennessee students now have to have completed a ½ semester class on personal financial education, as a graduation requirement. For more information about Tennessee’s Financial Literacy Week, go to:https://www.tnbankers.org/finlitweek
